Broadway Neighbors Coalition (BNC) Spring Meeting, June 22, 7:30-9:00 PM, Fox Library

The meeting will be in the community room downstairs, and there will be some light refreshments. Agenda: 1. Eversource's Underground Cable Modernization Project  The  "North Cambridge to Woburn" portion of Eversource's Underground Cable Modernization Project  is a major utility project that would affect large portions of Broadway and Warren Street over the next ~5-10 years. The existing underground 345-kV transmission line is past its useful life expectancy and needs to be replaced.  2. Broadway Corridor Redesign as a Complete Street  Thanks to funding from the Boston Metropolitan Planning Organization and Arlington's Town Meeting, the  Town has the opportunity to hire a consultant to study the one-mile Broadway corridor  and design improvements for increased access by persons who walk, bike, roll, or use transit. The engineering firm VHB has been hired to lead the project. Again, BNC will meet in the  Fox Library...
